I did a lot of writing yesterday and my soul feels refreshed. It's a great feeling and I'm noticing how many great things it does for my mental health as a whole.

Today I go back to the day job. I'm nervous, but excited about it. Like usual.

Another year begins.

I spent yesterday playing far too many video games for my own good. I mean, my brain was happy, and I finally feel a sense of rest, so I'll take that as a win. All of the other productive things I said I was going to do did not actually happen, however. I'm trying to not beat myself up over that fact. Yesterday was a good day, and I should relish in that.

Today, I will be doing some minor NaNo related projects. Otherwise, I am cleaning for most of the day. My house is in need of it and I've put it off long enough.
