S2: Day 178 (543)

jillysriserI wrote about 500 words yesterday and learned more about a character that hadn't quite introduced himself to me yet. Knowing who he is and his motivations makes me more excited to write him as well as more invested in his journey. I have nine characters in total, and I want to connect with each and make them all someone to root for. This is hard. I can usually do it with 1-3 characters without a problem. Nine? That will be fun even if it is a challenge. Primarily, my biggest concern is the project getting too long. Connection usually means more words devoted to that character's past, present, and emotions. More screen time, so to speak.
The plan is to write now and analyze it to death later.
I am having fun with the writing process at the moment. That's the biggest win of all.

Playing: "Mario Wonder". "Phoenix Wright: Justice For All", streaming on Twitch. "Valkyria Chronicles". "I am Setsuna". "Kingdom Hearts". "Animal Well".
Reading: "My Favorite Thing is Monsters Part Two" print. "The Grace of Kings" print. "Empire of the Vampire" audio. "Moonstruck Vol 2" ebook.
Watching: Amazing Race, Season 13. Psych, Season 5.
